ARMAND RASHAD
....Is a multi-talented artist, producer, and engineer from Cleveland, Ohio, known for his laidback demeanor and signature sound: a luxurious blend of gritty funk, soulful nostalgia, and smooth storytelling. Pulling from sonic palettes of the ‘60s, ‘70s, and ‘90s, Armand coins his style Reality Lifestyle Music — a vivid, honest reflection of life, elevated through eloquent lyricism and timeless grooves.
His musical journey began at 13, recording demos on a karaoke machine in a friend’s basement. That early spark evolved into a deeper passion for production and engineering. By 22, he had built his first home studio and began releasing underground projects while living between Cleveland and Miami.
After returning to his hometown, Armand focused on entrepreneurship, eventually founding Connect Studios, a creative hub that’s become a staple in Cleveland’s music scene. Along the way, his work expanded into Emmy-nominated projects, collaborations with household names, and a respected presence behind the boards as both a producer and engineer.
In 2022, after a decade-long break from releasing solo music, Armand made a long-awaited return to the mic. With maturity, intention, and a sharpened creative vision, his latest work is both a continuation and evolution. As he puts it:
